Our Story of Experience & Commitment
Ha’unga Kioa was born and raised in Vavaʻu, where he developed a deep appreciation for hard work, family values, and service to the community. Seeking greater educational opportunities, he was given the opportunity to attend Brigham Young University–Hawaii, where he studied Biochemistry and earned his degree.
After completing his education, Ha’unga relocated to California and established a family-owned home improvement business focused on residential construction and outdoor living enhancements. The company specialized in concrete work, block walls, landscaping, sprinkler systems, and patio covers, earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Ha’unga later moved to Alaska, where he worked for the Alaska Department of Education while continuing to operate and expand his family business. During this time, he further specialized in concrete services for both residential and commercial projects, bringing years of hands-on experience and project management expertise to a wide range of clients and developments.
Following his move to Utah, Ha’unga founded H3 Tree Services. Drawing from decades of entrepreneurial leadership and construction industry experience, he built the company on the principles of integrity, professionalism, and dependable service. Under his leadership, H3 Tree Services has become recognized for delivering high-quality tree care and property maintenance services throughout the community.
